Abstract

The intensities of calcium atomic, ionic spectral lines and of the CaO bands, in the absence and in the presence of fluorine, were calculated assuming that the plasma composition, radial temperature distribution and radial distribution of total calcium can be changed due to the presence of fluorine. An integrated picture of the influence of added fluorine on a d.c. are plasma and thus on the radiation intensity of calcium, is expected.
