Abstract
We give a description of the arboreal Galois representation of a quadratic polynomial $$f(x)=x^2-(4k+1)$$, where $$k\in {\mathbb {N}}$$ and $$4k+1$$ is not a square in $${\mathbb {Z}}$$.
