Abstract

The conversion of the development readjustment share (DRS) into the price, in the land readjustment (LR) carried out according to the 18th article of the Zoning Law, has become one of the issues that should be emphasized significantly with the legislative amendments in 2019, and LR regulation released in 2020. Although the conversion into price was only vaguely specified in the 1985 Regulation, it was persistently requested by some owners in LR. In 2019, an addition has been done to 3194/18th article and an application follow-up has been defined. Moreover, a more detailed explanation of the conversion process is definitely needed for the conversion process given in several articles of LR. This article aims to discuss conversion into price process which is thought to contain many important details, from a technical and legal point of view.
