Some detailed information has been given about this phenomenon under headings of definition of attribution word of yâ, ruling out the attribution word of yâ, similarity between mensub and muenneslik (feminine), mensub and tasniye (deuteronomy), similarity between mensub and ta-i marbuta (masculine and feminine), main purpose of practice of the comparative mensub and the semâ'i mensub sigas. During the study, the books of predecessor linguists such as Sibeveyh (d. 180/796), Muberred (d. 285/899) and Ibn Serrâc (d. 316/929) were used.
