Abstract

Issues of the aquatic vegetation involvement into processes of water environment self-purification from oil products pollution have been discussed. The role of plants both in provision of favorable conditions for destructors and in direct destruction has been shown. The significance of submerged vegetation for creation of conditions to intensify oil products oxidation, as well as its role in the polyaromatic hydrocarbons transformation has been outlined.
