Abstract

Electrochemical conversion of CO to C 2 products with high selectivity and efficiency remains a major challenge. In March’s issue of the Journal of the American Chemical Society , Chu and Surendranath reported that aprotic solvent-based electrolytes are more effective at converting CO to C 2 products compare to aqueous electrolytes.
