Abstract

AbstractThis paper is about my book (Manzano, Extensions of first-order logic, 1996), published by Cambridge University Press in 1996. The main purpose of it being to pinpoint Henkin’s influence concerning the translation technique proposed in the book.Several extensions of first order logic are introduced in Extensions, while trying to pursue the thesis that most reasonably logical systems can be naturally translated into many-sorted first order logic.
