Approximation solution of the complex modified Korteweg-de Vries equation via the homotopy analysis method

Abstract

In this paper, the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is used to obtain the series solution of the complex modified Korteweg-de Vries (CMKDV) equation. The HAM is compared with some other methods, also a convergence theorem is proved. Two sample CMKDV equations are solved to demonestrate the efficiency of the suggested technique. By plotting the -curve of the examples, the region of convergence is determined.
