Abstract
Abstract In this review paper, we are mainly concerned with the numerical methods for solving fractional equations, which are divided into the fractional differential equations (FDEs), time-fractional, space-fractional and space-time-fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs), fractional integro-differential equations (FIDEs) and delay fractional differential and/or fractional partial differential equations (DFDE/DFPDEs). The concept of the variable-order fractional operators will also be reviewed. At the same time, the techniques for improving the accuracy and computation and storage are also introduced.
