Abstract
The investigation is related to some elegant properties of a Fourier series with respect to an interesting orthonormal system, known as the system of Walsh functions, which has found tremendous applications in the last decade. Two theorems are obtained, one of which deals with the degree of approximation by De la Vallée Poussin means of Walsh Fourier series and the other is devoted to the study of a space defined with the aid of Walsh series.
