Abstract
Using a method given by Jakimovski–Leviatan, we introduce a Favard-Szasz type operator. We study the properties of approximation for a function in the space of functions having an exponential growth at infinity. This operator is a generalization of an operator introduced by M. Lesniewicz and L. Rempulska [3].
