Abstract

We present approximations for QCD scattering of an arbitrary number of gluons and for a q q pair and some number of gluons, based on knowledge of the most helicity-violating subamplitudes. These approximations are rapidly evaluated on a computer and agree to ∼ 10% accuracy with known exact results. The extension to other subprocesses is also discussed.
