Abstract
An approximate empirical formula for measuring selfshielding effect in irradiated metals of nearly spherical shape, dissolved before activity measurement, is obtained. An illustrative example is given for indtum grains and plots of specific activity are presented for gold, indium, and silver. (N.W.R.)
