Abstract

The performance of code-division multiple access (CDMA) spread spectrum systems using nonlinear prediction filters in the presence of narrow-band interference is approximately analyzed. Closed-form approximate analytical expressions for the performance improvement are derived. Also, the closed-form approximate analytical results are compared with simulated results by numerical examples. The comparison results show that the analytical results are valid when the interference bandwidth is small.
