Abstract
This paper proposes approaches to Religious Education in the Catholic Tradition in the context of a religious education program to be delivered to a Year 7 class in a Catholic boys’ college. The paper first briefly sets out the context, in a little more detail, before explaining the Religious Developmental Stages and considering the aim of and the most efficacious means of teaching Religious Education in such a context. It then considers recommended approaches to the teaching of the Sacraments and Liturgy, the Scriptures and the Doctrines of the Church.
