Abstract

The low-field magnetoresistance (LFMR) effect of perovskite manganite nanocomposite films can be enhanced by controlling the microstructure. However, improving the LFMR effect at room temperature is still a challenge. Therefore, it is necessary to design unique nanostructures for manganite nanocomposite films and accurately control the composition, morphology, size, and geometric distribution of the second phase. In this article, we first summarize the research progress of the LFMR effect in the perovskite manganite composite films and then discuss the main factors affecting the LFMR effect. Finally, new approaches to enhance the LFMR effect at room temperature of self-assembled manganite nanocomposite films via nanostructure design are discussed.
