Abstract

Approaches of power combining, which may be used at THz bands such as waveguide spatial combining, network combining et al, are illustrated. The merit and demerit of the approaches is pointed. Novel power combining techniques, which combine multi beams into one beam by using quasi optical technique, are introduced and demonstrated by full wave simulation at terahertz band. The principle of the beam power combining is described. Simulation results are given to show the validation of the power combining technique.
