Abstract

Arabian Peninsula at the age of ignorance consists of various ethnic groups with a variety of cultures and customs. This group of people that a particular tribal system ruled over them, especially in Mecca had a firm belief and social foundations. This study aims to investigate the Approach to Qur'an in Beliefs of the Arabs of the Age of Ignorance. Approach to Qur'an in Beliefs of the Arabs of the age of Ignorance has been classified into three groups: Reject, modify, or affirm this culture. Library and documentary research method has been used in this study, which investigated through Interpretations and how Approach to Qur'an in Beliefs of the Arabs of the Age of Ignorance provided. Eight Beliefs of the Arabs of the Age of Ignorance and their approach to them include: Hanif religion and months approved by the Quran; “Hajj and fasting modified by the Quran; and “Pagan and Idolatry , The relationship with the jinn, Nasi-to disregard the observation of the sacred months”, Beheira, SAAAIBAH, Wasilah and Ham rejected by Quran.
