Her duties at Dorsey Schools include instructing students on various software systems used in the business and medical environment and assisting in the design, development, and implementation of the placement department at her campus. Recently, Julie was asked to serve as Director of Corporate Education to develop, manage, and implement self-enrichment courses for United Auto Workers at the Ford-Wayne Truck Plant in Wayne, Michigan. Julie received a BBA from the University of Michigan, Dearborn, and a master's degree in Performance Improvement and Instructional Design from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Julie is an active member of the Michigan Business Education Association. From 1992 to 1996, Darlene was the Training Director in the Human Resources Department at Ameritech advertising services (yellow pages business unit), where she was responsible for Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin. From 1986 to 1992, Darlene was with General Physics Corporation, where she was curriculum manager for General Motors Technical Curriculum and program manager for the materials management curriculum, including training GM suppliers. Darlene was lead author of two ISPI International and chapter award-winning books: Fundamentals of Performance Technology (second edition) and Performance Improvement Interventions. She was 1992 ASTD International Technical Trainer of the Year, 1993 Outstanding Leader in the Auto Industry. Darlene has degrees from Albion College, Central Michigan University, Marygrove College, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University.
