Abstract

Distinction between neoplastic and radiation-induced brachial plexopathy remains difficult. For a 78 year-old woman with radiation-induced brachial plexopathy, pre-operative high-field MRI sagittal sections showed an abnormal tissue surrounding the nerve trunks but sparing perivascular soft tissue. Similar findings were observed in four other patients and differed from the MRI appearance of neoplastic brachial plexopathy.
