Abstract

On behalf of APTA's Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Alan M. Jette, PT, PhD, FAPTA, as editor in chief* of Physical Therapy ( PTJ ), effective January 1, 2016. Dr. Jette will succeed Rebecca Craik, PT, PhD, FAPTA, who has led the journal to new heights since 2006 and whose second and final term ends December 31, 2015. Over the next few months, she will prepare the Journal for its next phase, working with Alan to achieve a smooth transition. Alan is no stranger to PTJ ; through the years he has been an author (known particularly for outcomes research), a reviewer, an Editorial Board member, a special issue editor, and a deputy editor.
