Abstract

ESP units are widely used in oil and gas industry and that’s why attention to effective control of well stock with ESP is paid in terms of real-time technical condition evaluation of down-hole equipment. Complex design and probability of failures of ESP are reasons for focusing on, but there are ways to prevent escalation to failure or reduce potential damage of equipment. Quality and efficiency of decisions on the technical condition of operating ESP is primarily depends on qualification of technical specialists of oil production. Fluctuations of electrical parameters during ESP operating are defined as stochastic process. There is huge amount of technological data indicating operating mode of ESP that could increase probability of incorrect technical condition evaluation of the equipment and a wrong decision on the operating mode. Pasteurizing data it is a determination of operation parameters which adequately describe investigated object and processes in it that is the primary task under the realization of technical diagnosis. This paper proposes the way of applying diagnostic criteria for ESP technical condition evaluation based on analysis of stochastic fluctuation operating parameters in timescale form. Proposed criteria provide preliminary data cleaning to reduce the time of technical condition evaluation of ESP unit.
