Abstract

The article discusses an interdisciplinary study concerning the Gospel of Luke and the application of a four-phase organizational learning process. The discussion refers to research that provides empirical evidence of this learning theory in various cultural settings and its relevance to the description of Jesus' life and teachings in the New Testament book of Luke. The phases--which are interative and provide tacit knowledge for subsequent phases--are ideation, elaboration, integration, and normalization. Topics include the cyclical nature of the learning model, Luke's Journey Narrative, the structured Q-sort methodology which is used to examine concepts that have not been established, and critical thinking.
