Abstract

SpaceWire is an aerospace-oriented standard for on-board satellite applications which can operate at high-speed (between 2 Mbps and 400 Mbps). The maximum rate of most SpaceWire product related nowadays is 200 Mbps while 400 Mbps technology and product is under developing. In this work, we test and analyze eye-diagrams constructed by data signals which are transmitted and received via 400 Mbps SpaceWire network node and router and inject common mode noise at receive side to verify the noise's influence. We set up a data transfer system choosing 10m cable A and 10m cable B which has different quality grade as link media and capture the differential signal waveform with or without noise injection in each case to research the signal quality and the common mode rejection capability.
