Abstract

This paper presents a real-time air quality monitoring system based on several LoRa sensor nodes to implement an Internet of Things (IoT) network. By using multiple sensor nodes with Arduino as the main control board, environmental parameters were collected, and the integrated data was uploaded to the cloud through a single device. Users only need to connect the gateway device to WiFi to synchronize the data of several sensor nodes in the entire system in the cloud. The device shows the air quality data of a huge area such as a campus, and users check the system data through the mobile APP and related cloud website, which includes various parameters i.e., PM1, PM2.5, PM10, temperature, and humidity.
