Abstract

Starting with the characteristics of secondary vocational colleges, this paper analyzes the five problems of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational colleges. In order to solve these five problems, mathematics teachers in secondary vocational colleges introduce applied mathematics knowledge into secondary vocational mathematics teaching, and put forward six methods: establish the educational concept with the characteristics of secondary vocational education; Arouse students' interest in mathematics learning and cultivate students' mathematical thinking ability; Plan and integrate the contents of teaching materials, and integrate the students' professional characteristics and social hot spots into the teaching materials; Cultivate students' awareness of Applied Mathematics in teaching; Teaching mathematics with students as the main body to better serve secondary vocational students; Evaluate students scientifically and objectively. Through the practice of these six methods, we can strengthen the cultivation of students' applied mathematics thinking and ability, integrate applied mathematics knowledge into secondary vocational mathematics teaching, and better serve secondary vocational colleges.
