Abstract

This paper present some results of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) as well as ways how to maintain the flow of water in a tank using the Proportional, Integral and Derivative (PID) controller based on a digital signal processing device are presented in the paper. Focused on the proportional gain, or just gain, sensitive of the valve change to given errors, and controller action. The concept of this process is to control the flow of water in the tank and to make sure, the flow of water always follow the range that has been set. The collected data were analysed and compared to the actual and desired performance of the system. Evaluation of the system to adjusting the certain flow and set point value more accurately. The PID controller calculates an error value as difference between a measured process variable and a desired set point. The controller attempts to minimize the error by adjusting the process control inputs. In addition, to achieve complex mathematical functions to compare a set of data to the set point and subtraction functions. The water flow measurement and control are essential for effective operation of water treatment and supply units.
