Abstract

The intelligent home energy management system (IHEMS) is one of the most important ways to solve global energy problems. Considering the characteristics of non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM), this paper applies NILM to typical application scenarios of home smart energy networks, including refined load modeling, personalized energy efficiency improvement and household flexible load regulation. These technological achievements can improve the practicability and user-friendliness of the intelligent home energy management system. Thus, it can achieve the targets of reasonable use of household electricity load and reduction of power energy waste, and reach the maximization of home energy efficiency while paying attention to the comfort of home environment.
