Abstract
The immunity to electromagnetic interference performance of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is a potential advantage in explosion measurement with electromagnetic pulses. Firstly, with the help of wavelet analysis and contrasting resistance strain gauge, the dynamic response performance of FBG is verified by Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB). Then, a concrete explosion-proof model is designed and built. FBG acceleration sensors and FBG strain gauges are arranged on the inner wall of the model to measure dynamic signals during the explosion. The hinge thickness of the FBG acceleration sensor is increased to improve its working frequency. Through the comparative analysis of the test results by various sensors, it’s considered that the FBG sensor has good dynamic response performance at its working frequency. Finally, according to the measurement results and wavelet transformation, the characteristics of blast waves are analyzed by combining with the time domain and frequency domain.
