Abstract
Mechanical manufacturing industry is the pillar industry in China’s industrial production, which occupies an important economic position in China’s economic development. Mechanical automation technology is an important technical means to improve the competitiveness of mechanical manufacturing industry and promote the sustainable development of mechanical manufacturing industry. Automation technology in the field of mechanical manufacturing mainly includes intelligent technology, integrated technology, flexible automation technology, etc. These technologies are widely used in the information system of mechanical manufacturing, product processing and inspection, supply and transportation and assembly. This paper proposes that the application of automation technology can be comprehensively optimized by strengthening the understanding of automation technology, speeding up the research and development of automation manufacturing process, improving the industry system and other strategies to improve the automation level of China’s machinery manufacturing industry and enhance the competitiveness of the industry.
