Abstract
AbstractA summary of studies on the generation of acyl radicals and their subsequent use in intermolecular, intramolecular, macrocyclization, and tandem alkene addition reactions is provided. Similarly, the use of intramolecular free radical cyclization reactions in the total synthesis of (+)‐CC‐1065 and a series of structurally related analogs is summarized.
