Abstract

Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been applied in many industries including Digital Publishing Industry (DPI) in China. On June 2017, there were 2,617 AI start-ups in the world, and China was ranked second with 592, just behind the United States. According to analysis of 41 articles on China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and news on Baidu Search Engine, this paper explores that AI is applied in DPI in terms of topic selecting, writing, reviewing, distributing and shows that how AI is driving a rapid transformation of China’s publishing industry from digital to intelligent.
