Abstract

Objective To study the application value of Xuesaitong injection in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing interventional therapy. Methods 104 patients with acute STEMI treated in our hospital from October 2016 to September 2017 were selected, and were divided into two groups by the random number table, 52 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with clopidogrel and aspirin enteric-coated tablets before the surgery, and then were given routine treatment after the surgery; while the patients in the observation group were treated with Xuesaitong injection before and after the surgery. The thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) flow grade, cardiac function before and after the treatment, and adverse reactions in the two groups were observed. Results Before the treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in the TIMI flow grade, left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) between the two groups (P>0.05); after the treatment, the TIMI flow grade and LVEF in the control group were lower than those in the observation group, but LVEDD was higher than that in the observation group (P 0.05). Conclusion Xuesaitong injection is effective and safe in patients with acute STEMI undergoing interventional therapy, which can improve myocardial blood flow and strengthen cardiac function. Key words: Acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction; Xuesaitong injection; Interventional therapy; Thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade; Cardiac function
