Abstract
Regional cerebral oxygenation(rSO2) is widely used in the monitoring of cerebral blood flow, which is not affected by temperature and pulsatile blood flow.rSO2 monitoring gives us a new way to monitor the oxygenation status of brain regions.But, currently, rSO2 research in the neonates is rare.This paper summarized the different pathological conditions influence on early neonatal rSO2, clarified the important clinical significance of monitoring of neonatal rSO2 and the future application was prospected.
