Application practice of the Internet of Things technology in oilfield development

Abstract

With the development and progress of science and technology, the Internet of Things, as a new generation of information technology, has been widely used in oil and gas production and other industries. The Internet of Things in oil and gas production (A11) is the application of a new generation of information technology in oilfield production. In the planning and construction of PetroChina, it is further determined that the system construction of the Internet of Things (A11) for oil and gas production is the key direction of future development. This paper studies the application of key technologies of Internet of Things (A11) in oilfield production. It uses Internet of Things technology to realize remote monitoring of the production process, and uses smart equipment to intelligently control production dynamics, thereby effectively improving production and management efficiency. Therefore, this article will first briefly introduce the Internet of Things technology, then discuss the application of the Internet of Things technology in major domestic and foreign companies, and finally discuss the specific practice of the Internet of Things technology in the oilfield.
