Abstract

Objective To explore and study the application of XBL+M teaching model in clinical medicine undergraduate teaching. Method A new teaching mode was put forward(XBL+M teaching model): the whole teaching process of a specialized course in clinical medicine was divided into two classes: the first class was pre-class learning time based on MOOC mode; The second class is the classic class time, including the teaching knowledge points, the teacher's specific supplementary explanation and Q&A teaching time, and the related clinical case analysis. The students were randomly divided into two groups, the new teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode .Every chapter was tested, and the scores of theoretical examination and clinical skills examination were statistically analyzed. Results Compared with the students of the same level who accepted the traditional teaching mode, the students of the new teaching mode got higher scores(P<0.01), either theoretical examination or clinical skills examination). Conclusion The new teaching mode of specialized courses in clinical medicine proposed in this study can significantly improve the teaching quality of clinical courses and ultivate qualified medical students with high quality.
