Abstract
Combined nanofiltration-complexation is applied to the separation of caesium and strontium from a solution containing a large concentration of sodium. Caesium and strontium complexation was studied using various water soluble resorcinarene-type ligands. Combined with nanofiltration these ligands improved the separation of caesium and strontium from sodium by the FILMTEC NF 70 membrane.
