Application of VR Technology in Interior Design

Abstract

With the rapid development of economy and technology in our country, people’s requirements for interior design continue to increase, and traditional interior design methods have been difficult to meet the diverse needs of the market. Through the application of VR technology in interior design, an indoor VR technology experience hall is formed, which not only provides users with a more realistic visual experience, strengthens the real-time communication between users and designers, but also increases the convenience of design and injects new technology into traditional interior design. This article adopts the case analysis method and collects information extensively. The indoor VR technology experience hall uses the immersive, interactive, and imaginative advantages of VR technology to construct a three-dimensional simulation space, create a scene of tactile feedback technology, synthesize stereo, and interactively experience the stereo display technology, realizing the actual transformation of the virtual environment. Using VR technology are able to make up for the shortcomings and deficiencies of traditional interior design, help users get a better design and decoration experience, meet the diverse needs of users and the market, and provide beneficial scientific guidance for the development of interior design.
