Abstract
Study Objective To demonstrate application of vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES) in a training setting. Design A single tertiary care academic institution. Setting At time of vaginal hysterectomy. Patients or Participants All patients undergoing total vaginal hysterectomy. Interventions Introduction of vNOTES including instruments, tips and tricks on how to apply this technique in a training setting. Measurements and Main Results Completion of vaginal natural orifice surgery. Conclusion Understanding basic techniques of vaginal natural orifice surgery can help trainees and young physicians become more comfortable with vaginal surgery.
