Abstract

Ultrasonic partial discharge detection is a necessary test in GIS handover test, which is very significant to detect the internal defects of GIS. This article introduces in detail how the ultrasonic partial discharge detection method is applied to the GIS handover test through a case in which the internal particles are found through the ultrasonic partial discharge detection method in the GIS handover test. It also fully proves that the ultrasonic partial discharge detection method is very effective for discovering the internal particles of GIS through this case. The experience of this case can provide a very meaningful experience for the subsequent GIS handover, operation and maintenance tests.
