Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of tumor plastic technique in breast conserving surgery for early breast cancer. Methods A total of 62 cases of breast cancer treated in General Hospital of Jincheng Coal Mine Group from January 2016 to December 2018 were selected and divided into two groups according to treatment plans. Thirty-one patients in the control group received routine breast-conserving surgery; 31 patients in the observation group were treated by tumor plastic technique during breast-conserving surgery. The patients were followed up for the first time one month after operation, and then were followed every three months. The recurrence and metastasis, complications and cosmetic effect of the two groups were evaluated. Results There was no significant difference in positive rate, recurrence rate or metastasis rate between two groups (P>0.05). The postoperative complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the excellent rate of cosmetic effect was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The application of tumor plastic surgery in breast-conserving surgery can achieve good short-term results, reduce the postoperative complication rate, obtain more ideal cosmetic effects, with higher application value.
