Abstract

Objective To evaluate the application of three-dimensional anatomical projection combined with ultrasound multimedia demonstration in the teaching of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. Methods The combined use of three-dimensional anatomical projection and ultrasound multimedia demonstration was analyzed using tests before and after teaching and questionnaires. Results With new software and visual techniques, this teaching method can significantly improve the recognition accuracy of ultrasonic anatomical images and widely accepted by learners. Such teaching improvement was designed to increase teaching time and decrease the number of students in a team. Conclusions This new teaching method is effective to meet the requirements of the teaching of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
