Abstract

The drug delivery system in breast cancer therapy with the thermosensitive hydrogel method developed significantly due to the influence of the availability of various polymers which have characteristics that are affected by changes in temperature. Drug release from thermosensitive gel preparations has advantages over traditional intravenous drug release. Despite the fact that the injectable thermosensitive hydrogel has the capability of gradual and sustained drug release, the drug release from the hydrogel is unpredictable because drug diffusion and hydrogel degradation are both uncontrollable processes. In this review, we examine a localized hydrogel thermosensitive system with regard to the effectiveness of drug release in the treatment of breast cancer
