Abstract

Good management is the process of finding permanent solutions to the dilemma of balance and achieving effectiveness and efficiency, differentiation and low costs, financial goals and long-term vision, consistency and flexibility. Modern approach corporate governance requires a new understanding of management in relation to one of its internal and external elements. The paper deals with the application of the Theory of Constraints in the environment of Supply Chain. The main goal is to present the Theory of Constraints approach with basic five steps focusing process in the area of the supply chain management. Specifically it shows how the TOC can be used in many others areas of application.
