Abstract

The low frequency Raman (LFR) modes technique we have recently experienced to be suitable in determining size dimensions of nanoparticles of silver and gold has been presently applied to measure the sizes of gold particles embedded into two differently prepared cerium oxides whose activities were found to be quite different in the oxidative reactions.
