Abstract
By applying the Dini expansion technique an analytical expression is derived for the coefficients of the multipole expansion of non-local coupling potentials. The method is illustrated with potentials and kernels arising in a reaction theory for 16O(16O, 12C)20Ne where the nuclei are described as composed of alpha and 12C clusters.
