Abstract

As an example of the application of cluster decomposition for an ideal (without interaction) relativistic quantum gas to the case of systems with interaction we choose the statistical bootstrap equation in its microcanonical form and formulate it with correct quantum statistics. This formalism of cluster expansion in the microcanonical language can be applied to other similar cases as well. We derive bounds on the limiting temperature for both boson and fermion systems and discuss a possibility for the modification of the statistical bootstrap equation.
