Abstract

A method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of the angular distributions of α-particles and protons from the 6Li(d, α) 4He and 6Li(d, p) 7Li reactions at bombarding energies below 180 keV applying CA 80-15 cellulose nitrate solid-state nuclear-track detector (SSNTD). Both reactions have potential applications in the controlled thermonuclear research (CTR). Cross-section data are also presented and comparison is made with previously reported results between 100 and 180 keV deuteron energies.
