Abstract
A method of using Bernstein—Bézier curves for data interpolation is proposed. The curves obtained satisfy the required conditions for ‘visual content’. A numerical example is executed not only on data points in a plane but also on the data points of a 3D object. The proposed curves are assessed for stereoscopic effect. Comparisons of the new interpolating curves with cubic splines demonstrate their merits.
