Abstract

The background of the problem in this article is that student activity learning at SMA Negeri 1 Subulussalam Regency looks passive, only the teacher is the information center and learning center. This article aims to (1) find out how the application of the talking chips type cooperative learning model with the aid of bingo game media in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Subulussalam y, and (2) find out the students' obstacles in implementing the talking chips assisted cooperative learning model. bingo game media in history learning. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive type. Determination of the subject is done by purposive sampling. The subjects were all students of class XI IPS 1, totaling 23 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that (1) The application of the talking chips type cooperative learning model assisted by the bingo game media in history learning has been carried out properly and in accordance with the syntax of the talking chips type cooperative learning model. From the results of the analysis of the application of cooperative learning models during learning activities, the average score was 84.4% and included in the Good criteria, the analysis of the results of student evaluations showed that 20 people scored above the KKM or equivalent to 87%, while as many as 3 people got scores. below the KKM or equivalent to 13%, (2) Students' obstacles during learning are time constraints, there are students who are less active, students lack confidence when explaining answers, and sometimes students do not understand the questions from the bingo board.
